Users

Manage who has access to a Voltmasters EMS project, and what the Customer and Installer roles may do.

Under Settings → Users you manage who has access to this project, and with which role.

User roles

Every user gets one of two roles: Customer or Installer. The role decides what that user can do in the project.

Managing users

The screen shows all users of the project, with name, email address and role.

  1. Add users: starts an invitation for a new user.
  2. Customer / Installer: the role of the user. Use the switch to choose it.
  3. Disconnect: removes access to this project.

Inviting a user

  1. Click Add users.
  2. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
  3. Choose a role: Installer or Customer.
  4. Click Send Invites.

Disconnecting a user

  1. Go to Settings → Users.
  2. Find the user you want to remove.
  3. Click Disconnect next to the name.

The user then has no access to this project any more. The account stays and keeps access to the other projects it is linked to.
