Connecting Elion: no connection credentials needed, but the EAN codes of the project, and what the platform exchanges with Elion.

Elion is an external energy partner that operates the connected assets by sending steering signals to the EMS.

Supported steering: batteries, PV, imbalance market.

Connecting

Choose Elion under Configuration → Grid & market → External control. The connection is set up automatically, without an API key or certificates.

Elion does need the meter point EAN codes of the project: one shared code, or separate codes for consumption and injection. Enter them beforehand in the grid connection references under Configuration → Grid & market → Grid settings. Without them the form does not let you save Elion.

What is exchanged

Once connected, the platform exchanges the following with Elion:

  • Site configuration
  • The connected devices
  • Historical metering data
