What installers ask us
Which battery brands does Voltmasters EMS work with?
The EMS is brand-independent and supports more than fifty brands and models, including Victron, Sungrow, Poweroad, SCU, Sinexcel, EP Energy, SAJ and Dyness for batteries, and SMA, Huawei, Fronius, ABB, Growatt and Solis for inverters. The full overview is in our documentation.
What happens if the internet goes down?
The algorithms run locally on the Voltmaster Controller. During an internet outage the installation simply keeps running on the active strategy; once the connection returns, the controller syncs automatically with the platform.
How long does commissioning take?
Standard commissioning is completed in under an hour. You add devices through the wizard in the platform, test every connection with one click and can be supported remotely by our team.
From when is telecontrol mandatory?
Requirements differ per grid operator and location, but 100 kVA is increasingly used as the relevant threshold. Voltmasters processes telecontrol signals as a constraint in the optimisation and guides the full certification.
Can my customer watch along in the platform?
Yes. Access is role-based: as the installer you have full configuration rights, your customer gets their own login with read access to the dashboards.
How do I become an installation partner?
