Posevault BESS, containerised storage smartly controlled

Posevault builds containerised storage that combines battery and power conversion in one unit, over a single Modbus TCP connection. Voltmasters EMS turns it into an earning asset: market-driven charging and discharging, peak shaving and grid-balancing services.

Posevault

Supported devices

  • BESS

The BESS (2088 kWh / 1000 kW). Supported from controller version 0.0.331.

What the EMS gets out of your Posevault installation

  • Trade on the imbalance market and dynamic prices, quarter hour by quarter hour
  • Peak shaving: keep peak power and capacity tariff under control
  • Maximise self-consumption together with PV and EV chargers
  • Fluvius telecontrol and grid compliance, certification included
  • Real-time monitoring with automatic incident detection

Why installers combine Posevault and Voltmasters

A 1000 kW system on a grid connection with limited capacity needs tight control. Voltmasters aligns the battery with the market, the PV and the consumption and guards the connection within its access power. The Voltmaster Controller runs the optimisation locally, even without internet.

How your Posevault connects to the EMS

Voltmaster Controller in the cabinet

The industrial DIN-rail controller sits next to the installation and runs the optimisation locally, even without internet.

Connect over the local network

You connect the device following the step-by-step guide in our documentation. We assist with commissioning on your first project.

Configure and go live

The installation appears in the platform: dashboards, control and monitoring are active right away.

Questions about the Posevault integration

Which Posevault systems does Voltmasters support?

The Posevault BESS, a containerised system of 2088 kWh and 1000 kW, connected over Modbus TCP.

What happens if the connection to the controller drops?

The system falls back to zero power after 30 seconds and resumes its own strategy. Once the connection returns, the EMS takes control again automatically.

Does the system keep working when the internet drops?

Yes. The Voltmaster Controller runs the optimisation locally in the cabinet. If the connection drops, control, peak shaving and the safety limits simply stay active.

How do I connect a Posevault BESS to the EMS?

The Voltmaster Controller connects to the device over the local network. The step-by-step instructions are in our documentation, and as a certified partner we guide your first commissioning from start to finish.
