AlphaESS STORION-LC-TB125 under smart control
The STORION-LC-TB125 is a 125 kW all-in-one battery cabinet built around the AlphaESS EMS 5.0. You do not address it cabinet by cabinet: a single Modbus TCP connection to the EMS drives the whole system, up to 25 parallel units. Voltmasters EMS connects on top and turns it into an earning asset.

Why installers combine AlphaESS and Voltmasters
Behind that one connection sit the battery, the PV and the head meter of the site. Voltmasters EMS sees them as separate logical devices and controls them together, aligned with market prices, solar production and consumption. The Voltmaster Controller runs that optimisation locally, even without an internet connection.

Questions about the AlphaESS integration
Which AlphaESS system does Voltmasters support?
The STORION-LC-TB125 and the STORION-LC-TB125-EX, the 125 kW all-in-one battery cabinets built around the AlphaESS EMS 5.0. One connection to the EMS drives up to 25 parallel PCS and battery units.
Do I have to add the battery, the PV and the meter separately?
No. You add the battery cabinet and the EMS creates the battery, the PV and the grid meter automatically as logical devices behind the same connection.
Can the EMS curtail the PV of this system?
No. The PV is DC-coupled and read-only: the AlphaESS dispatch interface offers no register to limit the PV. Export limiting is handled through the battery.
Does the system keep working when the internet drops?
Yes. The Voltmaster Controller runs the optimisation locally in the cabinet. If the connection drops, control, peak shaving and the safety limits simply stay active.
How do I connect a AlphaESS STORION-LC-TB125 to the EMS?
