8× Poweroad in the field: getting paid to charge
At a transport company in West Flanders the EMS controls eight Poweroad batteries of 105 kW / 215 kWh, together with 420 kWp of PV and two DC fast chargers. During negative prices the whole site charges at full power, down to −€200.83/MWh.

Yes. Voltmasters and Poweroad are strategic partners. We develop and test the control on a Voltmaster Controller that is permanently installed at the Poweroad factory, so the control of every FLEX battery and every new firmware release is right from day one.
Which Poweroad systems does Voltmasters support?
The full FLEX series: FLEX 126 AIO, FLEX 215, FLEX 215 AIO, FLEX 215 AIOS and FLEX 233 AIO. We support both PMS version 1 and version 2, in air-cooled and liquid-cooled versions.
Can I trade on the imbalance market with a Poweroad battery?
Yes. The EMS automatically reads the market prices and plans charging and discharging quarter hour by quarter hour. At a transport company in West Flanders this yielded up to −€200.83/MWh during negative prices.
Does the system keep working when the internet drops?
Yes. The Voltmaster Controller runs the optimisation locally in the cabinet. If the connection drops, control, peak shaving and the safety limits simply stay active.
How do I connect a Poweroad battery to the EMS?
