The LUNA2000-215-2S10 Smart String ESS is a complete C&I battery cabinet: an integrated 108 kW PCS and a 215 kWh LFP battery pack behind a single Modbus TCP connection. Voltmasters EMS controls the cabinet directly — without a SmartLogger in between — and turns it into an earning asset: market-driven charging and discharging, peak shaving and self-consumption optimisation.

Only the LUNA2000-215-2S10 is supported at this time. The broader LUNA2000-215KWH series (215-2S11/2S12, 161-2S11, 107-1S11) shares the same register map and can be added once each variant has been verified on hardware.

The LUNA2000-215-2S10 brings power and capacity together in one cabinet. Voltmasters EMS connects over Modbus TCP and adjusts the active power setpoint every cycle based on market prices, PV and consumption. The control clamps the setpoint to the cabinet's live charge and discharge capability and starts the unit automatically when it is in standby. The Voltmaster Controller runs the optimisation locally, even without internet.

What is the difference between the LUNA2000-215 and the SmartLogger Hybrid?
The SmartLogger Hybrid controls LUNA2000 batteries and SUN2000 inverters via a SmartLogger gateway. The LUNA2000-215 is a standalone all-in-one cabinet with its own PCS: the EMS connects directly to the cabinet, without a SmartLogger in between.
Which LUNA2000-215 model does Voltmasters support?
The LUNA2000-215-2S10 (108 kW PCS, 215 kWh LFP). The broader LUNA2000-215KWH series shares the same register map and can be added later after hardware verification.
Does the system keep working when the internet drops?
Yes. The Voltmaster Controller runs the optimisation locally in the cabinet. If the connection drops, control, peak shaving and the safety limits simply stay active.
