Who is Elion?
Elion is a product of Elindus, the Belgian energy supplier for businesses based in Waregem, developed together with Smart At Energy and The Energy Hub. The platform monitors the imbalance market fully automatically, anticipates the local production and consumption profile and optimises the energy bill and the return on the battery.
Our partnership
The connection between Elion and the Voltmasters EMS is the simplest in our line-up: no configuration is needed. As soon as a project is connected to Elion, both platforms automatically exchange the site configuration, the connected devices and the historical metering data. Elion defines the market strategy, while the controller executes the steering signals locally within the limits of the grid connection.

From then on the installation follows Elion's steering signals. In the platform you track the imbalance prices, the activations and the revenue per device, live.

Batteries and PV inverters. Elion tracks the imbalance market 24/7 and steers the installation fully automatically: charging and discharging at the right moments, and curtailing when the market calls for it.
What do I need to connect a project to Elion?
Only a contract with Elindus/Elion. The technical connection requires no configuration: site, devices and metering data are exchanged automatically once the project is connected.
Does the installation stay safe while Elion is steering?
Yes. The controller always enforces the project limits: the maximum power of the grid connection, the limits of the grid contract and the safety margins of every device.
