Energy meters integration
EME eCON+ as a measurement point in the decoupling panel
The EME eCON+ is a measurement and monitoring device built into the mains-decoupling panel. Voltmasters EMS reads it for real-time measurement on the grid connection and per circuit behind the decoupling.
Supported devices
- eCON+
The eCON+ with its additional measuring points. The same eCON+ panel can also act as the interface for remote control by the grid operator.
What the EMS gets out of your EME installation
- Real-time measurement on the grid connection as the basis for every control action
- Submetering per installation section or consumer
- Accurate data for peak shaving and injection limiting
- Reporting and cost analysis in the platform
- Mix all brands in a single metering setup
Why installers combine EME and Voltmasters
A single eCON+ delivers several measuring points at once: the grid connection, the production and storage behind the decoupling and the individual assets. The EMS reads the main measuring point directly and exposes the additional measuring points as separate meters in the platform, so every circuit can be followed up individually.
How it works
How your EME connects to the EMS
Voltmaster Controller in the cabinet
The industrial DIN-rail controller sits next to the installation and runs the optimisation locally, even without internet.
Connect over the local network
You connect the device following the step-by-step guide in our documentation. We assist with commissioning on your first project.
Configure and go live
The installation appears in the platform: dashboards, control and monitoring are active right away.

Questions about the EME integration
Which EME meters does Voltmasters support?
The eCON+, the multi-point measurement device built into the mains-decoupling panel.
Can one eCON+ measure several circuits?
Yes. Next to the main measuring point, the additional measuring points appear as separate meters in the platform, so you follow up on each circuit individually.
Does this work together with hardware from another brand?
Yes, the EMS is brand-independent. A battery, PV inverter, EV chargers and meters from different manufacturers are controlled together as one optimised system.
How do I connect a EME eCON+ to the EMS?
The Voltmaster Controller connects to the device over the local network. The step-by-step instructions are in our documentation, and as a certified partner we guide your first commissioning from start to finish.
