Which Huawei devices does Voltmasters support?

How does the EMS connect to a Huawei installation?
Over Modbus TCP. You log in as installer on the SmartLogger web interface and enable Modbus TCP under Settings, Comm. Param. With an IP allowlist you limit which devices may connect.
Can the EMS curtail Huawei production during negative prices?
Yes. The EMS automatically reads the day-ahead prices and limits the inverters when injecting costs money, up to zero injection.
Does this work together with hardware from another brand?
Yes, the EMS is brand-independent. A battery, PV inverter, EV chargers and meters from different manufacturers are controlled together as one optimised system.
