# DSO RTU settings

> Configure the grid operator that sends remote control signals to your installation. Fluvius calls it telecontrole, the platform calls it DSO RTU.

Under **Configuration → Grid & market → DSO RTU settings** you configure the grid operator that sends remote control signals to your installation. Fluvius calls this mechanism **telecontrole**; the platform uses the operator-independent term **DSO RTU**.

The page starts with the **telecontrol provider**. The sections that follow depend on the operator you pick:

| Netflex measurement channels | Fluvius | Every connection | The channel each device is reported in, and the check against the zone sheet. |
| Devices for telecontrol | Fluvius | Every connection | Which PV inverters and batteries belong to the registered asset group. |

### Frequently asked questions

**How do I know who my DSO RTU provider is?**

Your DSO RTU provider is stated in your contract with your grid operator. Your installer sets the correct provider during commissioning.

**My provider is not in the list, what should I do?**

Some providers need a recent controller version; update the controller first. If the provider still does not appear, contact Voltmasters Support. A missing provider must first be added to the platform before it can be selected.

**Where do I see what the grid operator is sending right now?**

On the [DSO RTU dashboard](https://voltmasters.io/en/docs/voltmasters-platform/dashboards/dso-rtu-dashboard/) under Monitoring: the live snapshot of every setpoint and emergency stop, and the history of every command the RTU sent.
