# Activity

The **Activity** page, found under **Configuration → Activity**, provides a complete audit trail of the configuration changes made to this project and its devices. Older material and Vic sometimes still call it the change log.

### What is recorded?

Each entry shows:

| Column | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **Object** | What was changed: the project, a device, a setting object |
| **Event** | What happened to it, for example that it was created, updated or deleted |
| **Date** | The date and time of the change |
| **User** | The person or account that made the change |
| **Parameter** | The individual setting that changed |
| **Previous value** | The value before the change |
| **New value** | The value after the change |

This gives you a full overview of every adjustment made over time, making it easy to trace back when a specific setting was changed and by whom.

### Filtering the log

Filter the entries with the **date selector** and the **search field** at the top of the page, and narrow further by **user** or by **device**. The device filter names the device with what tells it apart from its namesakes, such as its serial number, its parent device or the date it was added. **Clear filters** puts the full log back.
