## Analog outputs

| Parameter | Value |
| --- | --- |
| **Channels** | 2 |
| **Current range** | 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA, selected per channel with a jumper |
| **Resolution** | 12 bit |
| **Accuracy** | ±0.1 % of the range (±0.02 mA) |
| **Maximum load** | 500 Ω, the module sources the current itself |
| **Open-wire detection** | In the 4-20 mA range |
| **Common return** | AO0 and AO1 share AGND |
| **Power-on value and safe value** | Configurable per output |

## Digital inputs

| Parameter | Value |
| --- | --- |
| **Channels** | 2 |
| **Dry contact** | On = closed to GND, off = open |
| **Wet contact** | On = at most 1 VDC, off = 3.5 to 30 VDC |
| **Maximum cable length** | 500 m |
| **Overvoltage protection** | 30 VDC |

## Digital outputs

| Parameter | Value |
| --- | --- |
| **Channels** | 2 |
| **Type** | Isolated open collector that switches to the minus (sink) |
| **Load voltage** | 5 to 50 VDC |
| **Load current** | At most 700 mA per channel |
| **Protection** | Overvoltage up to 60 VDC, overload from 1.4 A, short circuit |
| **Power-on value and safe value** | Configurable per output |

## Network and protocol

| Parameter | Value |
| --- | --- |
| **Ethernet port** | 1 × RJ45, 10/100 Mbps |
| **Protocol used by the EMS** | Modbus TCP |
| **Addressing** | A fixed IP address is required |
| **Configuration** | Web interface in the browser, on the module’s IP address |
| **Access** | Protected with an ID, a password and an IP filter |

## Failsafe behaviour and watchdog

| Parameter | Value |
| --- | --- |
| **Communication watchdog** | Configurable, off from the factory. If Modbus TCP communication is lost for longer than the set time, the analog and digital outputs go to their safe value. |
| **Start-up** | At start-up every output gets its configured power-on value. |
| **Power loss** | Without power the module sources no current: the analog outputs drop to 0 mA and the digital outputs no longer switch. |

How to set the watchdog and the safe values is under [Configuring the module](https://voltmasters.io/en/docs/device-integrations/io-modules/volt-aio/#configuring-the-module).

## Power supply

| Parameter | Value |
| --- | --- |
| **Input voltage** | 10 to 30 VDC |
| **Consumption** | At most 3.6 W |
| **Protection** | Against reverse polarity |

## Mechanical and environmental

| Parameter | Value |
| --- | --- |
| **Dimensions** | 72 × 123 × 35 mm |
| **Mounting** | DIN rail |
| **Operating temperature** | \-25 to +75 °C |
| **Relative humidity** | 10 to 90 %, non-condensing |
