Our EMS supports the Schneider Electric **PowerLogic PM5000 series** of three-phase power meters, used for grid and sub-circuit measurement in commercial and industrial installations.

All models in the series share the same public Modbus register list, so a single integration covers the whole family: PM51xx, PM53xx, PM55xx and PM56xx.

### Supported devices

- **PM5000 series**: three-phase power meter with Modbus communication

> **Note**
>
> **Default slave ID**
>
> PM5000 meters use **slave ID 1** by default. Make sure this matches the slave ID configured in our EMS, or adjust it on the meter if needed.

> **Warning**
>
> Set the voltage and current transformer ratios on the meter before you add it. The meter applies its own VT and CT ratios, so a meter on the medium or high voltage side already reports primary-side values and needs no extra scaling in our EMS.

### What the meter reports

- Phase and line voltages
- Current per phase and neutral current
- Active power per phase and total active, reactive and apparent power
- Total power factor
- Grid frequency
- Cumulative imported and exported active energy

### EMS functionality

With the current integration, our EMS enables:

- Accurate measurement of grid and sub-circuit energy flows
- Real-time monitoring of power, energy and power quality data
- Use of the meter as a reference point for control strategies such as peak shaving and capacity management

Additional functionality may be added over time as integration capabilities evolve.
